George kelly's personal structure

George Kelly's main concern was that the theory of personality was very broad or in simple terms loosely defined and it's very difficult to observe and to examine because as he quoted doctors are mainly concerned with the diagnosis of the patient rather than the patient itself. Which I believe is a fact because we have our own point of views because that's how we see it our way.

In his example which was that if you took your problems to a freudian analyst then he'd interpret it in freudian terms and so on and so forth. Another concern that he focuses on is the observer's effect or observer's bias. As to what i've said earlier we have our own opinions based on how we see them and how we analyze them carefully. Somehow though we see obstacles as negative aspects it could also be a good strategy depends on how we analyze it carefully to make it into a positive strategy.

For Kelly, he wanted to develop a theory and an investigative technique which would remove the influence of the observer's frame of reference what was observed.
